Does anyone know how many c-sections you can have? I've had 2 already. We would like 2 more children but wasn't sure if I could have 2 more c-sections or not. I have big babies for my size (thanks to my 6'2" dh) and really didn't have much choice. I will plan on asking my doctor the next time I'm there. Just wanted to know what anyone thought on here or what they've been told. TIA!

I have never had a c-sect, but I know from a few friends that their doctors said no more than 3. It is just too hard for the uterus to recover after that point. Maybe you'll get a differnt answer from your OB.

I know someoen whose had 4...she started very young though so don't know if that makes a difference. I think it would depend on your individual body/experience.

I have had three c-sections and am planning my fourth at the end of August of this year. I had c-sections in 11-2001, 12-2002, 8-2004, and 8-2006(expected). My doctor has not said anything regarding this being a possible concern. I actually work with a woman whose daughter had SIX, but the hospital and the doctors have told her that she is done her body cannot handle another!
