Our Grandparents

Hi, its Maggie again.
This is going to sound really long and confusing, but my husband and I were talking about honouring our grandparents in my child's name.
My grandparents names are:
Margaret
Albert
Margaret
David
His grandparents are:
Patricia
Robert
Christine
Martin

As you can probably tell, my name comes from my grandmothers' names. My brother's middle name is David. My husband has brothers called Christopher and Robert after Christine and Robert and his uncle is Martin Jnr.
So Albert and Patricia are the only ones unused.
How do people feel about Albie Patrick?
I'd love to hear your opinions! x

Thank you. I'm unsure on calling him Albert, I just don't know if it fits with my style of names. This is my first baby, so my name style could always change, but I think to go with my list Albie my fit better.

I like Patrick, but simply Albie does seem a scad too over-youthful for imagining on, say, a Supreme Court justice.

The reason we steered away from Albert and Patricia themselves is because we didn't like them as names on their own and wanted to put our own slant on it. Albie is an accepted first name over here, its obviously very strange over there from all your reactions. I know 2 of my friends have young people in their extended families with Albie/Alby as their first names. After speaking about it further with my husband we have definitely decided against Albert. And I have bad memories of someone called Patricia.
Does everyone doubt it will work?

For me, it's overly cute for a legal name; I'm just not a fan of cute in legal names because...well...most adults just aren't that cute.

I'm not Welsh? I'm English. Over here, my friends have reservations about whether or not its too 'posh', but I think it fits with my sort of style.
