I do agree with the pp in the sense that if I met a little boy named Christian I would think his parents were more religious than most...I also agree that he would not be discriminated against.


I mainly posted to let you know I ADORE your daughter's name!!

I also feel that it would be extremely odd for a non-Christian family to use this name - I think everyone would assume the child is of Christian faith.


this isn't your MIL's choice though - if YOU and YOUR husband and YOUR children are of the Christian faith, then just because she is not does not eliminate this name for you
