Do you know people who are the only one with that name?
Some I know are: Medrie (I love this name!), Neiley (neighbour's daughter), Navarre (nephew), Gardy (grandmother), Anneke (second cousin - pronounced ahn-neh-keh), Farrell (second cousin - f).
That's all I can think of...what about you?

I actually have known a lot in my life, now that I stop and think about it. (I'm including people where I have heard only heard of others with their names.)
Family:
Manilla (my grandmother, named after her aunt)
Clynis (my dad's uncle, brother to Ardyth (male, oddly enough, and my grandpa) and Fordyce
Eldon (my uncle)
Ervin (my uncle)
High School:
Jamaica (I know of a writer with this name too, but no "real" people)
Simmon
Trampis
Chevalle
Chantelle
College:
Cherish
Nason
Jotham
Sonnet
Hannelore (a friend's sister...other sisters were Heidi, Heike and Heather)
JoLayne
Kelaine (and her sister Kami, pr. kay-MEE)
Since College:
Dionysius (actually his mn, he goes by Dion)
Chauncey (my friend's son)
Tyrel (another friend's son, brother to Jorgen)
Luther (a teenager)
Satchel (DH's grad school advisor's son, brother to Alexei and Aidan)
Palmer (my SIL's sister's ex-fiance...got that?)
Thor (my cousin's husband's son...got that, too?)
Lars (an upstairs neighbor in...well, it's probably obvious...Minnesota)
Bjorn (in our church nursery in MN, brother to Gunnar)
Penn (my son...I know there's Penn Jillette and a politician who died right after my Penn was born, but I've never met another.)
And, oddly enough, I know a lot of Annekas/Annikas (and a Janneke and a Zanneke.) I'm surrounded by Dutch people and it's pretty common in this generation.
I forgot a few:
I only know a few. They are:
Siofra (f), Campbell (f), Amulet (f), and Everest (m)
Wow, I don't know if I can top some of those. I feel like I know people with very ordinary names. Here are some students/parents I've come across in my years as a teacher or others that I've met in life that I never heard on anyone else. Some of them are ethnic names and I probably just haven't heard them since I've never been to Ghana, etc.:
Female: Scharla, Alondra, Yana, LaDawn, Cinnamon, Princess, Stanna, Amandy, Fletcher, Anat, Boatemaa
Male: Cannon, Macallister, Koen, Arryan (pronounced like the constellation Orion), Kwaku, Baffour, Lyman.
