I like Blaze for a boy. Have you considered spelling it Blaise?

I like the following of your choices for a girl:

Solange
Marantha
Clio

From your boy's list, I like Orion and Altair the best. I like Mehri, but can't get past the teasing potential for the pronounciation. It might work anyway, especially as a MN.

Your girl's list is harder - while your tastes are more exotic than mine (I'm pretty dull), there are several lovely names. My favorite three are Katriell, Estellia, and Solange.

Good luck!

Boys
Mehri - How about Mehdi (meh - dee). It's persian too, but seems a bit more masculine.

Girls
Isha (ee-sha)
Zakira
Tora - I like this one. It's strong and unique.
Aysha
Kharis
Uma
Sahara

Raven for boy, and Solange for a girl. I thought that Marantha was nice, too. It reminds me of the plant, Amaranth.
