HI MY NAME IS CHRISTINA AND I AM CURRENTLY 22 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH A BABY GIRL!! My fiance wants to name our child Anjali(an-ja-lee) Luci Goodwin. He want's her middle name to be Luci in honer of his great grandmother who raised him. I'm absoulutely fine with this, my only problem is that the first name does not "flow" with the middle name! any name ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Hi
Have you thought about flipping the two names creating

Luci Anjali

I think that is VERY pretty and meaningful too!

Good Luck

I believe it was already suggested, but I'd use Angelia, Angelina or Evangeline as the given name(avoiding the double "ee" endings in both the fn and mn), and use Angelie/Anjali as a nn. Of course, if you are Indian and using the name for that specific reason perhaps honoring your heritage with the fn and honoring a loved one with the mn trumps having a name that flows well, KWIM? ;)

How about changing to a different version of Luci for example
Anjali Lucille?

I think that's pretty!

You're right, it doesn't flow. Angelina Luci Goodwin or Angela Luci Goodwin have better flow. I think the nn Angie as a little girl is adorable, or for Angelina you could do nn Lena.

Anjali is actually an Indian/Sanskrit name that means "tribute", so it's actually a completely different name than some form of Angeline/Angela/something like that...

hello!! well, luci is a hard name to get a "flow" with...could you maybe use lucille? or lucia? if those arent an option, you could just keep it luci-youre not really going to use her middle name all that much-most of her life she will be anjali l goodwin...im not especially crazy about the spelling or pronounciation of her name though-im sure she'll have to correct people constantly on how to spell and pronounce things...but if you both like it, then go for it. take care!
