Hello my name is Elizabeth and dh and I are expecting our third child in June.I can't find a name dh and I really like.We do not know if it is a boy or girl.Names have changed so much since I was pg ten years ago with my second child, yes this one is a surprise.I am open to any suggestions. My 14 yr old dd likes the name Eden for a girl but I do not think that goes well with the last name of Philips.I do not know where to start. Thanks for any help.
Elizabeth
dd-Adrienne Marie-14
ds-Sean Michael-9 will be ten next month

Congratulations! I have 3 kids also with a large age gap between the last two (13, 11 and 4) - one of which is a Sean Michael (great name I think).
I think Eden sounds okay with Philips, but I think it's very close in sound to Adrienne.
Some suggestions to go with Sean and Adrienne:
Jillian
Madison (though this is popular)
Colleen
Natalie
Lauren
Chelsea
Bridget
Alison
Vanessa
Matthew
Benjamin

Actually, I love the name Eden & I DO think it goes just fine w/ your ln! I also love Marissa & Alyssa but there'd be a lot of "s" sounds in the whole name w/ those.
There are so many names to choose from but I wanted you to know that Eden is very nice.
Seeing as I have an Adrienne of my own.... :-). I love Eden! We seriously considered it but I really dislike the nn Edie and I just wasn't sure it could be prevented. Sean, Adrienne & Eden are great together, IMO. We ended up using Elena (eh-LAY-nah), which (as it almost always works out) fits her to a 't'. Another name that I think would be wonderful (but we couldn't use because of our mn choice) is Audrey. Sean, Adrienne & Audrey it a great combination as well.
And actually, I think Eden Philips is great!
I'll follow this thread and keep thinking.
Good luck!!
You know what Elizabeth, I wouldn't worry about the changing fashions too much but just look for names that appeal to you.
