Hey, I would love to use some help. I love the names Angelique, Josephine, Odessa, Delhpine, Laura. I would love some feedback on what you think. Please don't be afraid to say you don't like the names. I'm someone that doesn't really like traditional names and goes fro unique or rarely used.
Angelique sounds to much like my name(angelina) but I plan maybe to use it as a middle name.
Josephine and Odessa is something I would use as first names.
Sometimes I think that Delhpine is a little to wierd even though i do think its very unique.
Laura seems to plain and simple, and my mothers name is Larissa(which i really love) I plan to maybe also use Laura as a middle name.
These are the combinations that I got so far:
Odessa Josephine
Josephine Angelique
Odessa Delphine
Odessa Josephine
Delphine Josephine (Josephine Odessa)

The name most stuck to me is odessa, but maybe ill change my view of stiking to wierd names as these. My last name is Fomina which doesnt go with the names at all. But all my life I've had a name of Angelina Alexandra Fomina, which for no reason changed in high school to Angelina Christina Fomina. Does anyone have ideas for Greek or French or Latine names? Any other suggestions of how to put these names together, or ofcorse combine with other names. Please help me decide, I need the name urgent. Any sugesstions will be great. Thanks:):):)

I think the names are unique, not weird. From yur list , I like:

Josephine Angelique
Delphine Odessa
Odessa Josephine

Odessa is definitely the most different name. It's not one I'd choose, but I don't dislike it either.

Yu might also like the name Daphne.

I LOVE Odessa...my great aunt's name is Odessa and it was on our list for awhile but it didn't flow with our last name or other children's names. But Odessa Josephine is my favorite on your list.
Good Luck and I'd love to hear whether you choose it or not.

The only name I personally do not like from your list of names is Laura.

In my opinion, the last name "Fomina" rolls effortlessly off of the tongue for each name combination that you've chosen. In other words, it "goes" quite well.

Upon viewing the order of some of the names, I was taken back to my childhood, when every child received some sort of nickname (whether they wanted one or not!); Odessa Josephine would instantly have earned the moniker "OJ," or "Juice."

Very briefly, here are a few other names from the Latin or Greek: Octavia, Odette, Oriana, Olivia, Phaedra, Phoebe, Flora and Daphne. An internet search for popular French, Latin or Greek names might prove to be more useful.

Good Luck!

Odessa is my husband's grandmothers name. She is pushing 90 and still going strong. She is one of the first people in his family to accept me. Her name is on my list if we have a girl.

I like the sound of Odessa Delphine, but as someone else posted, you need to be carefull of initials. OD may not be the best set.

Hi,

I think Marianne is a wonderful name and a national emblem of France,it is a personification of Liberty and Reason. You can give her MiMi as a nickname.
Other pretty names: Mirielle, Miranda, Migdalia, Millicent, Mildred
Good Luck

THANKS SOOOO MUCH. All those names are so goergeous. I really liked odette and a lot of others. Grandparents don't aprove of Odessa much, they think it's too much of a city name. Of course I love the name and dissagre. Josephine is well liked by everyone in both families. SO we are probably going to stick with it. Marianna was one of the names on my list, but then sounded to simple. Delphine I also like a lot by my non-english grandparents said it sounds like a dolphine. SO now im not sure. I'll have to talk about it with my husban, see what he prefers. Right now we are sticking to JOsephine or Josien as a nm.
Thanks a lot for the great suggestions, I would love to hear more and I'll keep you updated.

Wow, i didnt imagin picking a name for a baby girl will be this hard. But we have decided on josephine. Odessa is a beautiful name too so it's hard to decide.
Josephina Angelica
Josephina Delphine
Josephine Odessa
Josephine Nicolette
Josephine Demetra
Josephine Lauren
Odessa Josephine

I wonder how hard it will be to name a boiy since I have no ideas. Joseph was one so it will match with Josephine. Please give me more advice on which u like better. And any other suggestions.
Thanks a bunch!!!!!
