We have finally decided on a name for our baby girl. The name that we have FINALLY chosen is PAYTON RILEY FLEMING. What do you think? Any suggestions would help.

I like it BUT..as the mom of a dd w/a unisex name I really strongly suggest at least considering using a feminine middle name. (also I like Paityn spelling for a girl)..

maybe Paityn/Payton Kylie instead?

I think it's really cute!!!

Riley is NMS as a FN due to its current extreme popularity but as a MN I love it, especially with FN Payton!

My only qualm is the Payton spelling, actually. I think of Peyton as the "girl" spelling and Peyton is my preferred spelling for this name.

We have a 19 yr old occasional babysitter named Payton (spelled this way), she is a gorgeous pre-med student! So that is a positive association. When she first babysat for us I spelled it out Peyton and she corrected me but said that "everyone spells it that way! I wish it WERE with an 'e'!" So anyway, that's something more to consider!

Congrats!

Sorry, but since you asked, I don't like it. I would hesistate to put Payton and Riley together because they are both surnames. With the two of those surnames, and your own last name, it sounds as if your daughter is the name of a law firm or brokerage. Payton, Riley and Fleming...attorneys at law. See what I mean?

I think it is a beautiful name. Personally I don't care for it spelled Payton. I like Paityn or Paitynn. For some reason it looks more feminine like that to me. But if you like it that way that is all that matters!!

I think its really lovely but I like Peyton spelled with an e as opposed to the a that you used.

I agree with using a more feminine middle name -- though I suppose most people never know the middle name anyway...

I really like both of the names individually, but the two unisex names together is a bit too much. I would say to pick the one you love the most and use it with a more traditional girls name like

Peyton Caroline Flemming

Isabella Riley Flemming

And as pp have said, I do prefer Peyton with the e instead of the a. Good luck!

I really like the name a lot. I know 2 little boys named Riley, you could always use Ryleigh if you opt for a more feminine middle name as one of the other writers suggested.

I'm in love with the name Reagan for a little girl. I know I'll be met with mixed opinions on that one. :o) In the end it's your baby, your opinion. :o)

Good Luck!

I don't think Payton is a girl's name.
