Hi Ladies,
I have been hanging here for a while, because I LOVE names, pregnant or not!
However, I am due with #4 in Feb. I will have my CVS results back shortly. So I want to play the name game b4 I do.
My other kids are Caroline, John (Jack), and Claire. All family names, and all have a family surname for a middle name (my mom's maiden name, my maiden name and my grandmother's maiden name). The last name sounds kinda' like Dunfree.
If it is a GIRL, I have my hear set on Anne (nn Annie) for my beloved aunt who died a couple years ago, and it was also DH's grandmother's name. I think I could get him to go for it, so that's OK.
If it's a BOY, this is what I'm thinking:
-- Thomas (my g-grandfather's name)
-- Walker (this would be the mn, as it's a family name, the first name would be one of the other choices.)
-- Peter (I just like it)
-- Philip (DH's little cousin who died in an accident. We wouldn't use it, still too painful, but perhaps use Philip Walker and call him Walker)? Not sure I can get DH to agree.
-- William
Please tell me what you smart ladies think!
Cathy

If you or your friends are big fans of Will and Grace, I would avoid having a Jack and a Will in the same house (those were always my "if i have twin boys i will name them" until that show)
I think I like the idea of honoring Phillip - Thomas Phillip would be wonderful together!
Good Luck and HTH!
Jaime
I love Anne/Annie and considered using it as a nick for Tatiana.
My daughter's middle name is Lilianne (LilAngel).
I like Thomas and Philip for the boy name but I understand the pain associated with Philip. If I was going to go by his middle name though...I would actually reverse the names and just call him outright Walker Philip.
What about 3 names...
Thomas Walker Philip.
That way you get your family name as the middle name, Philip is honoured but you don't have to call him that...you call him Tom....
That is my 1st choice.
Hi Cathy. Congrats on #4!
Your children have beautiful classic names. Nice work!
Anne nn Annie is absolutly perfect to fit in the mix. Hopefully your dh will like it too.
Here are my thoughts on the boy list:
Thomas (my g-grandfather's name)-That's really handsome, & fits in perfectly well.
-- Walker (this would be the mn, as it's a family name, the first name would be one of the other choices.)-I like it as a mn for you.
-- Peter (I just like it)-I love Peter. It's fairly underused these days too.
-- Philip (DH's little cousin who died in an accident. We wouldn't use it, still too painful, but perhaps use Philip Walker and call him Walker)? Not sure I can get DH to agree. -I love Philip. I don't know about Philip Walker called Walker. Why not just Walker Philip or Thomas Philip etc.?
-- William -This is a favorite of mine. I love the nn Billy; especially w/your crew. Just William is great as well.
Hope this helps!
I like Thomas the best & think it goes really well w/ your other children's names.
Thomas Walker
Congrats!
We have the same taste in names.
I've always thought the name Annie was cute for a girl, and especially since it's a family name for you.
I really like the sound of Thomas Walker - very strong.
I like Peter, but I don't like the 2 names with "er" "er". Might be too much.
Thomas Walker GMV.
William is great with your other kids names too, but not so much with Walker.
Love Anne with your other kids names as well.
