Tigerlily
Raiza (ry-EE-za)
Zuhara (za-HAH-ra)
Aisha (ai-EE-sha)
Saoirse (seer-sha)
Venus (middle name problems)
Raven
Phoenix - definity a fav, but having problems finding a non-frilly girls name that fits as a middle name and has a bit of rhythm, we like names that sound a bit surnamish, androgynous, or exotic
Auriel (or-ree-EL) (with Zuharah, definitly)
Affinity
Serenity
Tranquility (love this, maybe too long tho)
Persephone
Regan
Star (my absolute favourite, but again, need a catchy middle name)
River (river clair or river eden) - love this too
Izarra (ee-ZAH-ra or eye-ZAH-ra)
Blaiz - another ultimate favourite (it means wolf in celtic languages, but its just such a strong name, yet not unpretty, still have fire connotations when spoken.) Help
Ocean
Light
Zayne

Can't decide! Really, really, this is on my doorstep now,

Tigerlily- I strongly dislike this... it sounds really ridiculous to me. My
Raiza (ry-EE-za)- too difficult to pronounce... looking at it I want to say ray-zuh
Zuhara (za-HAH-ra)- love this, beautiful
Aisha (ai-EE-sha)- Maybe you don't know, but there is a song entitled this that is a long running Internet joke... I would avoid it!
Saoirse (seer-sha)- Beautiful
Venus (middle name problems)- I think of the razor
Raven- pretty
Phoenix - okay
Auriel- beautiful, love this
Affinity- seems silly to me, not a name
Serenity - see Affinity
Tranquility - horrible, see Affinity
Persephone- see Affinity
Regan- okay, seems trendy compared to your other choices though
Star - This sounds very juvenile to me. I suggest using something else and calling her Star as a nn... Star is not a name!
River (river clair or river eden) - see Affinity
Izarra (ee-ZAH-ra or eye-ZAH-ra)- pretty
Blaiz - nms
Ocean- nms
Light- seriously?
Zayne- okay, prefer for a boy

Okay, some of these names are beautiful, but for others, I think you must be joking! If I ever met someone named Light or Tigerlily, I could not take them seriously. You have some beautiful names on this list... go with one of them!

If you like Star, what about Starlene? I know of someone with this name who goes by Star, but Starlene looks a little more complete when you have to put it on a resume.

My favorites from your list are Raiza, Aisha, Saoirse, Raven, Auriel, and Izarra. I think names like River and Star work well in the mn slot, but I don't like them as well as first names.

I know that at least one person commented that Raiza will be mispronounced, but my guess is that the increasing Spanish-speaking population (you're in the US, right?) will help it to be pronounced correctly. I think you'd have just as many problems (if not more) with Saoirse. And FWIW, Venus makes me think of either the planet or the tennis star.

Have you thought about names like Serena instead of Serenity?

What about pairing one of your more feminine choices as a fn with a more androgynous mn? Something like Izarra Blaiz? Or Saoirse Raven? Maybe Raven Auriel?

Since you really like Phoenix, here are some names that I think go well as a mn...
Phoenix Izarra
Phoenix Raiza
Phoenix Zuhara
Phoenix Auriel

Good luck making a final decision!

Weren't you also considering Estrella (es-TRAY-uh) for a while? It's the Spanish word for star, and it would definitely get my vote. :-)
