I've never heard it used it before but it's pretty sounding. I'm pronouncing it Righ-a, to rhyme with Maya. I prefer to use the mn spot to honour a family member or friend, a place/flower/etc. that has importance to you is another great option. Best of luck!

I think its pretty! I would have pronounced it w/ a short a sound (ray-ah). Which way are you saying it? I suppose it could go either way, so you may want to be careful with the spelling. We also like to use something with meaning as a middle name w/ our children. Maybe if you posted a list of possibilities people could help. Or, here are some ideas that i thought would sound good with Raya.
Raya Danielle
Raya Janice
Raya Karene
Raya Brielle
Raya Simone
Raya Grace

Good Luck!
