Is Raygon too wierd?

Okay so the general consesus is that Reagan is a girl name. Now you have me second guessing my choice to name our baby boy that. Growing up we had a little boy that lived next door named Reagan and I have always liked the name. So do you think by changing the spelling to Raygon makes it more masculine or should I just give up on the name all together. Why oh why is coming up with boys names so hard? I don't want anything too common like Jacob, Tyler and such...but I don't want anything to weird.
HELP!

Yes, Raygon is too weird. Spelling it that way really enunciates(sp?)each syllable. I don't think there is anything wrong with Reagan for a boy. It is one of my favorite names, boy or girl.

Noodle dish, huh? I was thinking poisonous gas. Or the name of a new stun gun. Either way, it's a definite no for this spelling.
Even though I do think of Reagan as a girl's name, if you love it, use it. Being able to associate the name with a child makes all the difference in the world, so just because I associate Reagan with girls now doesn't mean that I would if you were introducing me to your son.
I still prefer Regan, though, because of the whole Ronald situation.
Scratch Raygon. Between the noodle dish and poisonous gases.. I think we will stick to the Regan Spelling.
Thanks for showing me the light!
I really like Regan, pronounced Reegan not Raygan, and I love the meaning of it; little king!
Changing the spelling from Reagan to Regan absolutely does NOT make it more confusing. If anything, it just makes it shorter. Changing to to Raygon, however...well, I guess we've covered that. Yes, yes, yes, name him Regan if you really like the name. It looks less fussy than Reagan, Raygan, Raygon, etc., anyway, and less fussy usually equals more masculine.
Congratulations, and let us know what you decide!
