My husband and I are expecting our second child in November, we LOVE the name Cinch Daleray, but have gotten mixed reactions when we mention this to other people. I know that it really only matters what we like, but I dont want to give my child a name that will cause him problems when he gets older.

Sorry- but the name just looks weird to me.
I am curious how you came up with that name, as I have never heard it!

Although I wouldn't use it myself, I'm probably one of the few who thinks its not so bad.
Cinch sounds a little too wierd to me. To me the best cowboy/western type manly name will always be Clay. I do like the middle name combo.

This name wouldn't work for me - Cinch doesn't feel "western," at all, to me, but just like trying really hard to be different. (I'm not saying that's your goal, just that that's how the name comes across.) I used to live in TX, as well - lots of great names there. If I wanted a Texas feel, I might consider:
Asa
Austin
Beau
Bronson
Bryce
Brant
Clint
Colton
Chase
Carson
Chance
Cody
Clay
Grant
Houston
Nash
Rio
Shane
