My husband and I are expecting our second child in November, we LOVE the name Cinch Daleray, but have gotten mixed reactions when we mention this to other people. I know that it really only matters what we like, but I dont want to give my child a name that will cause him problems when he gets older.

sorry, don't like that at all - cinch is a word, but I can't see it as a name at all - and I can't even tell if you meant this for a boy or girl - really would be bad for a girl, but no, don't like it for boy either

I am not a fan of Cinch either...but like someone else said, I have heard worse. I think it is a cute nickname but I honestly can't picture a professional adult using that name. I think any name that starts with C could have Cinch for a nickname...Charles, Christopher, Cameron, etc. Actually, any name could use Cinch for a nickname.

Also, is using two middle names an option? I like Dale and Ray (they are both family names for me as well) but I would keep them separate. Are you planning on having more children? If you don't want to use two middle names, you could use one for your next child. Dale can be used for girls, and Ray can be spelled Rhea or Rae for a girl as well.
