Redhead Freckle-Faced Chubby Girl Name

My husband and I are both redheaded (he's strawberry, I'm auburn), freckled and struggle with weight. If we have a daughter, it is likely she will be similar, although we hope to help her maintain a healthy weight. What names sound good on this type of girl/woman? I'm looking for something feminine, but not frumpy. I like Lily and Chloe. I'm also looking for a contemporary version of Amy or Jenny. My husband likes Molly, but I find that too frumpy for a possibly chubby girl. Our last name is of English origin and ends in a Y. I like names with g,j,p,q, and y in them as they balance out the Y in our last name. I also like names that look good on paper (no funky spellings. I'm resume conscious.) Any ideas?

Thanks!

I love Chloe for a little red head! I also LOVE the PP suggestion of Maggie.

My sister is a beautiful redhead named Corey...named after another redhead in our family, Cora.

Amelie', French version of Emily, there is a movie by that name and the main character (not a red head) has the best personality, at least I really enjoyed it.

You've gotten a lot of great suggestions! Maybe not everyone has seen 'The Breakfast Club' as many times as I have, though, or they wouldn't have suggested Claire. All I can think of when I hear that name is the line from that movie: "Claire's a fat girl's name."

I especially liked the suggestion of Ginny (Harry Potter anyone?). Ginevra is my favorite way to get that nickname, and avoids the problems of Virginia or Ginger (a little much for a redhead, I think).

Good luck! I'm sure she'll be lovely, whatever her name.

Lily and Chloe are beautiful names. Molly reminds me of Molly Ringwald... another redhead I guess. I know a little redhead girl named Hannah, and my redheaded sister is Heather (a friend with red hair is also Heather). Good luck!
