Nolan is one of my favorite names, so I am definitely partial to it, but there must be something about your last name that sounds good with names like Ainsley and Wesley, or you probably wouldn't be liking those. I wouldn't worry about the rhyming. Ainsley and Wesley have the same ending, but sound different to me. Not like Matt and Pat, or Brent and Kent. . plus, they are boy and girl names, so that makes them have a different feel to them, as well. Good luck! Will you answer my post, too? I asked a question about our baby's name possibly being Ford Foster Alley

I think I'd agree with your husband, particularly if you're considering having more kids.

I happen to agree with you, and think Nolan might be a better choice! I love the name, and think it goes well with your dd. Plus, if you choose Wesley, would you feel compelled to give any further children a name ending -ley so they don't feel left out?

hello!! so i really like both names you have picked out for a boy, but im leaning towards nolan. i think its unique and a good strong name. plus it compliments ainsley nicely...wesley...its not too rhyme-y with ainsley-but i think nolan is a better fit. good luck:)

Both names are solid choices for a boy. You can't go wrong either way! Since you and I have very similar tastes in names, I can't decide which I like better..although Nolan was high on my list when pregnant! DH would like to point out that him and his brothers all end in the "in" sound...a point that I never clued into until he said it now. I don't think people would really notice or give much attention to it really! I think you should let Autie Lisa in the delivery room and give the final decision though. I hear she is really excited!

xoxo

P.S. If this is anything like the fiasco of naming the dog and you want me to really vote for your choice, just say the word. Toper. HA!
