Dear Theresa,
I loved your post, and your Leo sounds charming. What do you find are people's reactions to Leo? Do you ever run across other Leos under age 10? What part of the country are you?It is so funny that your Leo has red hair and blue eyes as that is what I have, but DH has dark hair and eyes so it is a mystery as to what our son will look like. I think we are edging more towards Leo everyday. It was great to hear from someone who has actually used the name.

Dear Jennie,
Thank you for your post as well. Since Leo's birth I have only run into one other little boy named Leo. Ironically, he was born only two weeks prior to my son. Everyone's reaction to his name has been really positive. Everyone either describes it as great or awesome. We do live in a large city in the Mid-Atlantic region so unusual names are pretty common. I think sometimes people try and out do each other. LOL! It's funny. I remember when Tony Blair and his wife had their little boy, Leo, a number of years ago thinking who would name their baby Leo. At the time, it was so not in my realm of thinking I would have a son named Leo. We can thank my daughter for that. As a funny aside to that story, she originally wanted to name him T-Bone which is one of the characters on the cartoon Clifford. Well, we were very impressed when she insisted he be Leo to the point of agreeing to name him Leah if he happened to come out a girl. We figured out a few weeks after he was born that on the show Calliou that character's best friend is Leo with red hair and blue eyes. So I guess he got a PBS name after all. I actually have brown hair and blue eyes and my DH has brown hair and eyes. His dad had blue eyes so we knew we could possible have a blue eyed child but both of my children kept their blue eyes. Genetics are pretty weird. My DH was born with red hair so that comes from him. Leo's is just not as quick to change it seems. Again, best of luck to you.

Samuel/Sam by a mile!
Leo makes me think of Leo Dicaprio and I can't get past that for some reason.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
We are thinking of Leo too so that would have my vote.
