I am looking for a Scottish name to use as a mn for either gender. I want it to be a REALLY Scottish name, so when you hear it, you immediately think Scotland. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I know my son's name is Scottish, and it's unisex, it is Cameron.

I'm not really that familiar with which other names are Scottish though.

No, that site isn't great, the Swedish name are mostley wrong, either not a name or the wrong gender.

My husband is Scottish and he suggests the following: Iain, Connor, Hamish, Angus, Ruari, or Roderick. We are using Iain since it is his mn and my father-in-law's 1st name...good luck!

Mhairi as a girls name. Its gaelic and when pronounced properly, the 'mh' is pronounced as a 'v'. A little confusing but definitely Scottish... You can just go with the phonectic pronounciation as well, the 'h' is silent.
Good luck!
