I do not care for Clarabeth. Can you use Claire as a middle name to honor the grandmother? I think that fits well with today's style - and goes well with a lot of first name choices.

With Jacob, Sarah and Ethan, I would use something like:

Rebecca
Teresa
Lauren
Ella
Megan
Natalie
Bethany

How about Cora? It's traditional and doesn't rhyme w/Sarah. I think names that end in "beth" sound very Little House On The Prairie.

I really like Clara, but I can see your point about Sarah and Clara. I think Clarabeth is very pretty too. Have you considered naming her Clara Elizabeth Middlename or Clara Beth Middlename? We had this dilemma with Ivy Beth and finally decided that two middle names was the best way to go.

Regardless, Clarabeth or Clara Beth, it's a lovely name.

It's pretty, but I'm not sure if it'll really avoid the rhymeyness with Sara. (I think it would get shortened, since it's a bit of a moutful.) I would put Clara in the middle name position.

Clarabeth still sounds rhyming to me with big sis Sarah. I like the idea of putting Clara in the mn spot.

I agree Clara and Sarah sound too much alike. Clara would make a great mn. Clarabeth just

Love Clara but can see the issue with Clara/Sarah. I do not love Clarabeth. How about Clare? It is a personal favorite as it is my eldest DD's MN. I also have a friend whose name is Katherine Clara. Perhaps it could make a lovely middle name. Best of luck with your pregnancy and growing family.
