Seeking Unisex Names
| Sat, 11-26-2005 - 8:23pm |
Hi Everyone
I am new to the message board. I am expecting in May and I am seeking out unisex names. I already have a daughter named Ryan. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Logan--more boy?
Riley--more girl?
Bailey
Sage
Aaron/Erin--depending on the spelling
Jaden/Jayden--I've read on this board that if is has a "y", it makes it more feminine
Those are the only ones popping into my head now.

I love Ryan for a girl. I'm a big fan of unisex names also. Tyler and Kyle are both in same category for me as Ryan, popular for boys but cute for girls. A few suggestions: Avery, Campbell, Carson, Carter, Colby, Devin, Dylan, Elliott, Graham, Greyson, Harper, Logan, Maddox, Mason, Morgan, Peyton, Taylor
Good luck!

Be inventive. Most names are interchangeable these days anyway!
Kim or Robin or Alma or Hanna ( yes this spelling is both female and male and then it means Joy in Arabic)are
I'm guessing you don't know the gender yet
here are some that have started to be used by girls occasionally but I still see them as boy:
Logan, Dylan, Tyler, Payton, Hayden, Aiden, Jaden, Caden, Evan (girls usually spell it Evyn), Skylar, Tristan, Hunter, Spencer
here are some that I feel have crossed over from boy to girl and it'd seem silly to use for a boy now: Taylor, Morgan, Whitney
here are some I'm seeing more of what I would call equally: Riley (any spelling), Reagan (girls tend to spell it Regan, like Megan with an R, or Raegan), Cameron (girls tend to spell it Camryn)
here are some I feel are boys names, but have heard on girls very rarely: Brennan, Keegan, and wish they'd stay with the boys.
good luck
