I hadn't thought about this for a long time, but for some reason my husband reminded me of a funny story. When I was pregnant with my DS, DH and I went out for lunch. The woman behind the counter asked what we were going to name the baby, and at the time we were still undecided. She told me how she named her son Semaj after the baby's dad, who was named James, "Semaj, you know James spelled backwards, maybe you could do something like that too" DH and I nodded politely, but shared a laugh when we walked away. From then on, everytime I would mention baby names, DH would suggest "Wehttam, you know Matthew spelled backwards!!!", and bust out laughing. It eased the stress of deciding and took the pressure off for awhile. Just thought I'd share, maybe you could suggest this to your DH or DW to lighten the mood if you are stressing about a name.

Haha!
OMG!
Dh and I were laughing about it so I looked Semaj up on a baby name dictionary -- and it was there (as James backwards)! So I looked it up on the SSA for 2005 -- it's # 704!!!!
Oh brother.

That is so funny!
At work I've heard of several young girls namimg their baby Nevaeh.... Heaven backwards. I thought it was a joke, but it was actually NUMBER 70 on the 2005 baby names list!!! Heaven itself only came in 245!! LOL!! These poor kids...
ROFL! I immediately thought of Nevaeh as well. Are we so short on names that we have to start spelling things in reverse now? LOL
Guess if Jason and I have another we can always name him Nosaj. ;)
