Well, it turned out that the back pains weren't from yoga, but from the early stages of labor ;) My water broke around 11 pm Sept. 10 (which irked my dh cause he wanted to finish watching "The Simpsons"... men), and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl at 7:13pm on Sept. 11th. 6lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long, with a head full of dark hair. So much hair that dh has taken to calling her 'Monkey Moose'. I was so weary about her being born on Sept. 11th that I was praying for a super long labor that would take me into the 12th. Oh well. I guess she will always be our reminder of something good coming from a day so tragic, and since she was a little early, we're just glad everything went well.
As for the name...
You guys were right. When you see your baby, you just know. Maura Josephine Jenner. Maybe a mouthful, but suits her perfectly. (Sorry to all of the Beatrix fans...maybe next time) Being Catholic, I remember sending many prayers to the Virgin Mary on 9-11-01. That day was one of the darkest in our history, and Mary gave me comfort, so naming our daughter Maura just seemed appropriate. And, of course I could never throw away Josephine :)
Anyway, I'm rambling, I just can't seem to *not* talk about her.
I'll see ya'll around the board!
Jorie
proud Momma to Maura Josephine (I'm so excited that I can finally say that!)

WELCOME TO Maura Josephine!
How wonderful! And she sounds absolutely wonderful-my ds was the same way, so much dark hair-we joked that he came out needing a haircut already...LOL I adore the name Maura Josephine (was my favorite for sure in your polls :) It is just gorgeous...and don't worry about her being born on the 11th-it will be a wonderful thing-change the meaning of the day for you forever... from something so devastating to something so beautiful for your family...:)
Enjoy little Maura Josephine....
