Sibling for Brielle.

Hello. DF and I are on our second TTC cycle. We already have one little girl, Brielle Jailyn who is 2.
If we have a boy the name will be Kieran mn either Michael or James.
Here is our girl list..
Emersyn/Emmersyn Luella (nn Emmy)
Brynlee/Brinley Luella (nn Bryn)
Kaelyn Luella
Our favorite at the moment is Emmersyn(though we cannot decide on which spelling). Middle name is my grandmother's name.
Which do you think goes best with Brielle?

I vote for Kaelyn
Emersyn is fine on paper but now matter how it is spelled when you say it it sounds boyish and Brielle is so femine that it is just paired wrong.
I know an Irish man named Kieran. When he lived in the U.S. a lot of people thought his name was Karen with kind of a twang-y "a" sound. It is pretty close to Karen. You may want to run it by some people in your circle.
Emerson (and alternate spellings) seems to be getting popular as a girl's name. Elliot as well. I think a lot of parents are going for the nn Emmy/Emmie and Ellie. Emmy is a cute nn, but unisex in nms and "feminizing" names with a "y" isn't my style, either, so I would go with a traditional girl's name to get the Emmy nn. Emma, Emily or look in the baby name books for one that's not quite so popular.
I like the name Brynn, but Brynlee/Brinley is too trendy and cute, imo. Brynn is a little close to Brielle, if you picture calling them both into the house from the backyard. I think Emersyn and Brynlee don't have as much sophistication as Brielle.
Kaelyn is nms, and I think she'd have to spell her name all the time, which is a pain. Again, too trendy next to Brielle, imo.
I love your DD's name and the boys name you chose!
I also like Kaelyn.
I have to agree with the PP. Emmersyn is too boyish next to gorgeous feminine Brielle. Plus personally I am not a fan of alternate spellings and think it looks too trendy with the 'y'.
Brynlee/Brinley - is too close to Brielle for my taste. I would suggest the first spelling though if you go with it. I dont know why, since I just said that I dont like alternate spellings and added 'y's but for some reason Brinley looks like a dogs name, or at least too masculine. Sounds great, just doesnt look like it sounds - IMHO
So I would vote for Kaelyn - I think it flows well with Brielle. It is a little trendy for my taste, but very pretty and feminine like Brielle.

It's a GIRL!!
