First, I want to thank everyone here for all your help with my naming dilemnas - I don't know what I'd do if I just had DH to bounce names off of! I thought we had finally settled on a name, but now I'm not so sure...
First, the good news: Should the ultrasound turn out to have been wrong (it happens!), as of last night, and thanks to a thread I read on here, we actually have a boy's name we both love. I didn't think this would happen, but it gives me hope that there might be a girl's name we both love out there somewhere, too! I'm not crazy about alliteration with sibling names, but I do LOVE the name, so we're running with it. If we have a boy, it'll be Colton Grant, nn Colt.
Now, the not so good news: I posted a while back about Rory (the ONLY name DH loves)

Try going to www.nymbler.com. You type in a name or list of names on the inspiration list, then other names with the name ethnic background, sound, feel, etc. pop up. A few of the names that popped up when I did it were:
Kelly
Riley
Mackenzie
Quinn
Reagan
Darby
Megan
Nora
Lesley
Bridget
Jamie
Shea
I would use a different name and Rory as the nn because of the flow...Rory does sound rather stuttery with your last name (it reminds me of this running gag on "30 Rock" about a movie one of the characters is in called 'the Rural Juror,' but noone can figure out the title if it's not written out.) But I can understand why Georgia may not be a comfy fit for you (though I personally love it.)
I'm not sure what the answer is, though...I know we went through all of the "usual suspects" that can have Rory as a nn--Aurora and Lorelei are the ones that come to mind--and it sounds like it's hard to switch your husband's mind at this point, especially without something you love and want to champion. My one idea is Jordan with the nn of Jory/Jorey--it shares a lot of the same feel as Cassidy and would get pretty close to the sound your husband wants in a nn. (Actually, I guess it could work for Georgia, too...)

Piper
Bridget
Cheyenne
Payton
Teagan
Tatum
Zoe
Lilly
Ayla
Delaney

Thanks for the feedback - Rory was really starting to grow on me until I said it out loud with our last name. And I do still love Georgia, I'm just not sure it fits in this case, KWIM?
I really like the idea of Jordan/Jory - unfortunately, Jordan is my DH's name, and he wouldn't be into naming a daughter after him... otherwise, it just might have worked!
I think Lily is a great match with Cassidy! I also like Quinn, actually Rory Quinn sounds nice, although you still have the similar sounding last name issue. What about Althea? I feel for you, it's so hard to choose something. Recently I heard the names Kyla and Bevin, both really nice and I think would sound good with Cassidy.
BTW, I LOVE the name Cassidy, DH and I had that picked out before we were even married, but an in law beat us to the punch. Great name though.
Good luck, keep us posted on what you decide! :)

Having fun with 4! Griffin, Dylan, Callan and Ruby :)
I agree that Lily/Lilly "seems" really popular, but I think it depends on the area, I have only heard it a couple times in my area. Also I wouldn't say Payton is popular either, again I have only heard this a couple times. It does depend on the area, so if popularity can be a deciding factor look up your state on the SS website.
