Is SML a bad monogram?

I need to know if you think the initials SML are bad...DH thinks that people will look at the monogram at think "smell". I personally disagree with him. One of my best friends in school was Susan Marie Lacivita and I don't remeber her ever having any problems with her initials.

The name we are considering is: Savannah Mason Lee (MN is my maiden name)

Thanks for your help!

I think he's putting too much thought into it..lol. My daughter's initials are MES and she doesn't get made fun of. I like the name that you've chosen, so I'd stick with it if I was you.

Smell never crossed my mind... even after you asked if it's a bad monogram I was racking my brain trying to think why it would be...

Unless you are aristoratic southern belles living on a plantation or a member of a royal family I dont know that I would worry myself over monograms. How many monogramed items does one have? Yes, it phoenetically spell SMELL, I agree on that, but I cant see this being a deciding factor. I love the name savannah btw.

Also, remember, she is going to get married and change her monogram anyway- and most monograms are wedding gifts.

AND I think Monograms are First Name, Last Name, Middle Name anyway, so its really SLM- slim!
