Some help with names

Hi:

I'm expecting my first child in a few weeks and having a really hard time deciding on names.

Girl: Annalia Marie, Anna Leaha or Anna Leaha Marie

I want some pretty and feminin for a girl and not too common. Any opinions on this name or ways to spell it? Or other suggestions? I was leaning toward the first but everyone I ask has a different opinion and not many like it.

Boy: Ben ... Maybe Ben John ( after the Father)

Any opinions or suggestions?

HI & Welcome

From your picks:

Annalia Marie, Anna Leaha or Anna Leaha Marie

I would spell Leaha as Leah.

Ben John seems very short to me. I much prefer Benjamin John. or Ben Jonathan. I also prefer Annalee or Annalynn over Annaleah- its a bit fussy for me, personally. Annalee doesn,t go well with Marie though. Annalynn Marie is very pretty. Good luck!

I really like Annalia I have never seen this before, but I like it. I also think if your going to go with this sound you should stick with this spelling, I like it the best from your choices.

Annalia Marie!

I like Anna Leah - spelled this way. The extra a and the end of Leah just looks odd and makes it look like you want it pronounced Lee-uh-uh.

Benjamin John sounds very nice. Ben John - not so good. sorry.

I like Annalia Marie. I don't see the need to seperate in to Anna Leah Marie. I guess maybe it's because I have an Annelise not Ann Elise. I don't care for the Anna Leaha spelling for the same reasons pp listed.

I would go with Annalia Marie. I think it's very pretty. I think the two name thing with Anna Leah is confusing. All one name is much better. I also like Bennett John the best . Ben John is just too short and choppy to me.

Thanks for the help and opinions. I didn't mean to spell Leah as Leaha. I agree with that being very confusing. Just a spelling error I made. I would like to use Benjamin instead of Ben but Father's dead set against it. He wants just plain Ben. So I'll just hope for a girl instead!

Thanks again for your help. It was actually very useful and I liked the name suggestions.

Maybe you could use Ben as the middle name since it is so short, something like

Jacob Ben
Daniel Ben
Russell Ben
Johnathan Ben
Austin Ben
Nathaniel Ben
Timothy Ben

Ect.. I don't know your naming style so I just stuck with more well known names, but if your not going to use Bennett of Benjamin then I would use Ben as the middle name. Thats just my opinion! Good Luck!
