Here are the more interesting, unusual or outright misspelled names from Kaitlyn's school. Obviously some of these would work under more than one heading, but I only listed each one once. Also, I realize some of the names are foreign, but I left them just because they were interesting, especially in some of the cases where the ln was something completely ordinary (Smith, Jones, etc.). Oh, and I left out some of the more obvious misspellings we've seen a million times (just left the ones that were particularly bothersome, for the most part). Enjoy! ;)
Less common or unusual names:
Ailsa
Alina
Alstan
Annik
Apostoli
Aries
Arkady
Augustine
Beck
Brenton
Carlissa
Celene
Chabely
Chase (ln DeBard … “chase the bird?”)
Chissy
Chuck
Clay
Clint
Colt (ln Barron … as in a lord of the horses hehe)
Dagan
Dalia
Dalton
Danika
Dawer
Daxton
Deion
Desmond
Dimitri
Dwight
Geneva
Georgiana (I quite like this)
Gerythaniel
Gretchen
Gunnar
Helen x 3
Ida
India
Irina
Jessica Martin x 3 (not unusual, just a really common full name apparently)
Jester (bet this one’s the class clown)
Kaehler
Kalliope (not a misspelling, although I think I prefer the C)
Kinsey (my maiden name )
Lance
Levi
Luna
M.J. (just the initials, but dad was Michael, so I’m really hoping they didn’t give him just the letters to stand for Michael Jr.)
Maeve
Marguerite
Melina x 2
Michael McCall (again, not unusual, but I found it odd they would use this combo, since they sound almost identical)
Misha
Mohala
Nasrine
Neville
Nigel
Noorbash
Oniver
Ory
Paola
Paulie
Santiago
Sequoia (ln Smith, so I can’t fault them for wanting a unique fn)
Severen
Shaylan
Shea
Sheridan
Slade
Stephen C. Levi (yes, goes by all three)
Tammarie
Tawni
Theodora
Ting
Venus
Vlademar
Yacinda
Yale
Misspelled (hopefully these are all typos … but I doubt it LOL):
Abigayle Rose
Aleksander II (dad is listed as Alek … I know this is technically a valid spelling, but WOW does it look wrong!)
Alixandra
Allee
Britny
Brittni
Camrin
Chaise (as in lounge??)
Chantz (ln Hale, which is bad enough, but I really hope his middle initial isn’t N … Chantz N. Hale LOL)
Cheyanne
Cheyene
Cydney
DeSean (since the father’s name was NOT Sean, and I’m guessing they’re not FROM Sean, I’m putting this as a misspelling/created form of Sean)
Donavan
Emalee
Gwedolyn B.
Jarryd
Jedidjah
Joeseph
Joslyn x 2
Kaein (I think this is “Cain”??)
Kasondra
Katelinne
Katie-Lynn (I’m putting this as a misspelling of Caitlin/Kaitlyn, because really, how different is that?)
Kayliegh (yes, the letters were really in that order)
Kirston
Kiya
Krystale
Lynzee
Nanthan
Nathaly (I know Nathalie is a valid form, but I’ve never seen this one)
Nocolas
Raynold
Shay
Tkeyah (not my typo … no idea what that is)
Torissa
Tyeler Michael
Double names (or those who go by a name and initial):
Bailey Esa
Cynthia Cecilia
Erin Lynne
Hope X.
MeganRose (truly listed as one name, with the R capitalized)
Samantha Faye
Sergio Alonso
Will P. (yeah, seriously)
K ln and fn (for some reason there were a ton of these, and having grown up Kelli K. myself, I’m particularly annoyed by it. LOL These are just a select few):
Kairi
Kasey and Kelly
Kavanna
Kelsey and Kody; Kenzie and Kory (these two sib sets have the same ln, and I’m pretty sure they’re cousins, so the matchy double-K thing seems to be a family tradition here. Parents are Kim and Kerry, and Kelly and Lisa – lucky her LOL)
Kendal
Klayton
Sib sets:
Amber and Ashley (twins), brother Michael
Amethyst and Holden
Athena and Phoebe (great sister names )
Bobbi-Jo, Robert Jr. and Ashley (what?! Why not Roberta? ROFL)
Brookelle and Branson
Cameron and Corrie (twins), brother Malcom
Cooper, Parker, Hatcher and Tatum (last two are twins … so glad they didn’t go with Tater to keep up the “-er” theme, but I’ll bet they still call her that LOL)
Damaris, Christopher, Andrew and Bethany
Dino and Zoe
Durell and Hillary
Emylee and Kristyn (a very misspelled family)
Ernie, Greta and Alex (last two are twins)
Eugenie, nn Janie, brother Jude
Evangelia (Evie), Nicholas (Niko) and Parie Anne (yes, “Parie” … they had me until I got to that one)
Fox, Raven and Jada
Haylee Raine and Kaila Jae
Herbie, Ashley, Kelsey and Nicole (thought they were going for an “ee” ending theme until I got to Nicole LOL)
Isao and Elise
Jason, Jean and John
Jillian, Kendall, Kirra and Marissa (I’d like the double-letter connection if they hadn’t misspelled Ciara to get it)
Jordan and Justin
Karine and Keri
Katelyn May (double name) and MacKenzee
Katrinia and Kayla
Katya and Mikayla
Kayli, Shania and Shaun, mom Shelly (I’m surprised Kayli isn’t Shayli hehe)
Kayti and Kylee (also a family with spelling problems)
Kurt and Kyle
Mickayla and Ernie (Ernie is listed as dad’s name too)
Molly Rose (sweet) and Emily
Natassja and Ashleigh (odd combo)
Quantera A. and Quintin A (A. is both their middle initials, not the ln, they apparently go by the fn/middle initial combo)
Randal, Reece, Ryan and Richard “Tylor” (apparently, Richard got tired of being one of the R brothers )
Srini and Tej
Zerek and Hope
Just interesting in so many ways:
Siblings Kelly Ann and Kevin W. Reilly-Rice (hyphenated ln), parents are Kevin and Carol (all K-sound fns) and the family lives on Reilly Lane … what are the odds?!
There was also one Nora, one Henry and one Celia (although there were two or three Cecilias) in the entire school (about 2000 kids I think).

Yuckity yuck yuck yuck on the misspellings!!!
Glad you liked them. ;) I know some of the "unusual" ones aren't unfamiliar (Gretchen, Maeve, Cynthia, etc.), but I left them in since you don't hear them that often on an infant. Also, all of these are the only ones with those names in the entire school (unless I mentioned otherwise), so certainly not common names. ;) I threw in Nora, Henry and Celia at the bottom because they were also the only ones I saw in the entire school (K-12th), especially since we've been hearing those mentioned more lately.
