I guess I don't understand the concept of creative spelling.

OK then there's at least a good reason to be doing it, which makes a difference!! : ) I still think it doesn't flow off the tongue really well, maybe you could do something w/ the mns of these two cousins, then play w/ different combos...

Eliza ____
Alexa Beth
Lexi Beth
etc

Or even just Elizabeth Alexandra is lovely as is!!

I love the choice of interesting spellings of common names. I too used unusual spellings for my daughters names.

How about going with the combo:
Eliza Andrea
or
Alexandra Beth

I'm not a big fan of creative spellings either, but Elizandria makes more sense that a lot of them. I think Elizabeth Alexandria would be really pretty, but Elizandria, while unusual, isn't bad. The spelling would take some getting used to, but it would be easy enough to learn. I assume it's pronounced like it looks, so that wouldn't be a big problem.

Bottom line, it wouldn't be my style, but I think it would work, if you really like it and don't want to use both names separately.

I think you would be doing a huge disservice to your daughter by varying the spelling in such an odd manner. The name is pretty as it is, why would you want to open the door to teasing and/or mispronounciation?

ETA that once I saw why you would want to do this, I understand that you would actually be combining the two names. Even so, I think it would be difficult to pronounce and I think it might be better to honor your loved ones in a diffent way, or as someone else suggested using the name Alexandra Beth or Elizabeth Alexa.

The names Alexandria and Elizandria are both pretty, but Alexandria is very popular. But if you dont mind the fact that there will probably be other children named that in her class, choose either one. (I personally like Elizandria more) :)
