I don't know if I knew you were pregnant, so I want to say congratulations just in case I didn't :) Thanks for all your help & support when I was naming Annie, too, btw :)
Thanks, Liz! :-) It's great to hear from you since I'm sure you've been so busy with the little one.
Your Annie is just beautiful. What a great smile! Have you run into many other Annelises/Annie's?
We told our DDs a couple days ago that they're going to have a new baby brother or sister, and my 3-year-old, Megan, said she thinks it's going to be a boy, but Annie wants another girl. Megan also has names picked out already -- Luke for a boy and Sasha for a girl. We won't be using either of those, but I thought they were nice suggestions. :-)
Did you see our starting name list this time? DH agreed to talk about names on New Year's Eve, and we actually agreed on a few (much better than last time). Of course, there are tons of other names that I love, and these may change, but at least it's a start.
BOY: John Paul, nn Jack -- John after my g'pa, Paul after DH's g'pa, g'ma Pauline, and my dad's mn
Gregory Charles, nn Greg -- after our dads
GIRL: Elizabeth Alice, nn Tess -- after 3 of our grandmothers, Tess was the only nn we both like Eleanor Elizabeth/Alice/Frances, nn Nora -- fn we just like, mn after a g'ma
Thanks again for thinking of me! You're so sweet! Stephanie, mom to Megan Joy, nn Meg (6/6/03), Julianna May, nn Annie (11/10/04), and #3 edd 8/30/07
Everybody around here gives me the "do what?" look when I tell them the baby's name, lol. Luckily most people think Annie is a sweet nickname, so it's not so bad. Thanks for the congrats and compliments, btw. I haven't met another Annie OR Annelise yet, so here's hoping.
I love the name John, it is right up on the top of my list. And Gregory was on our boy list last time I was pregnant. I like Elizabeth (of course) and Tess is perfectly lovely. (Meg, Annie, and Tess, how good does that sound?) Eleanor, Alice, and Frances are great too! (I love, love, love the name Frances/Francis for either gender)
