Hi everyone! Needed some opinions on possible girl names. Baby is due in 7 weeks, don't know sex yet, but we have a boys name picked out: Rylan Alexander. Girls names are giving us trouble. Have two possible first names, but mn are driving us crazy, cuz dh and I can't agree. The names we picked out so far are Soraya and Grace. Last name is LeBlanc (pronounced la-blank). Any suggestions?

Grace gets my vote, even though it's definitely more popular.

Grace Elizabeth is a popular beautiful combo.

Grace Amelia, Grace Marissa, Grace Natasha, Grace Bethany, Grace Willow?

Im not familiar with Soraya. How is it pronounced? I would use a simple middle name with it - maybe Grace, Paige, Faith, Hope or Jade?

I love Grace. It's a very pretty name.

Soraya is pronounced Soar-eye-ah. I love it and have only ever met 1 person with that name. The only problem I have with it is that I don't want a taunting nickname made out of it (kids can be so cruel), cuz it sounds alot like psoriasis.

I heard the name Soraya was i was pregnant with my youngest daughter who is now 8.5 years and i really liked it. The reason we decided on Kelsey Nicole instead was because it does sound like a skin condition and kids can we cruel, you don't need to give them a reason early on to tease her.

I also loved

Jaelyn Rose

Jaelyn Grace

Rylee Ann or Ryley Ann

Ainsley

Jayden

Madison (too popular now)

Ava Rose

My two faves though are Jaelyn Rose LeBlance sounds great i think!! My older daughter is Tegan Lee, so you can see i like names that aren't traditional. Tegan means lovely and fair which she is both.

Good luck

I prefer Soraya simply because it's unusual and Grace is just so overly popular right now, plus I am not a fan of the old-fashioned named like most people on this board.

good luck.

I think that it is incredibly important to think about the child and what they will have to deal with living with a name. I think that the "if you like it use it despite what the child may have to live with" thoughts should be saved for a pet.

Rylan Alexander LeBlanc is adorable and classy.

Grace something LeBlanc is a similar style and class. Why name your child something that they may have to struggle with, "Sore eye huh?" or skin diseases...and spelling it every single time. It seems to me you don't need to be stumped!

I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I had alot of sweet kids and did not hear alot of teasing regarding names. But some of the children with odd names were very uncomfortable with them. Something to think about.

Best wishes! Jules
