Suggest names to match style of...

I was talking to my SIL tonight and she is finding out the sex of the baby tomorrow. She asked me what names I like for her, and told me to make a list for her. I am having a hard time so I thought I would come to the experts here.

The top two girls names they like are Payton and Hayley
The top two boys names they like are Zachary and Nicholas.

So, what other names can you think up to match their naming style?

The top two girls names they like are Payton and Hayley.
Payton- I like this, it is fresh and modern, yet strong. Peyton is my preferred spelling.
Hayley- love the name, dislike this spelling. Keep it simple with the common Hailey

Payton and Hayley are really different in style, but here goes:

Avery

Lola

Stella

Hilary

Jade

Brooke

Devanie

Delaney

Bronwen

Ashlyn

Sienna

Carlen

Maren

Clara

Tessa

The top two boys names they like are Zachary and Nicholas.

I like both names. Similar names are:

Jeremy

Cole (as a nn for Nicholas or on its own)

Davis

Adam

Gregory nn Rory

Carson

Carter

Nolan

Noah

Hunter

Gavin

Griffin

Wyatt

Wade

Sean

Micah

I'll share the list with her tomorrow, I already know BIL is not going to like many of them, she says he is being really stubborn about names. He does not like names that seem old (so all of my name choices for my children are safe!!) and also nothing that is too unfamiliar, he would rather see an overpopular name. Thats why it seems strange that he likes Payton for a girl. As for the spelling I suggested Peyton too, but they seem to think that that spelling is for boys. I disagree and like it for either. As far as Hailey, I'm not sure how they are going to spell it, I didn't really ask her, and she just said "you know its kind of close to Payton" so maybe I assumed wrong that they would spell it Hayley, I will suggest Hailey if thats the name they choose.
I should have mentioned that they have a DS John Matthew, who always goes by both names, and was given two family names. This baby will have a family mn either Anthony or Renee.

How exciting that they find out soon and that your SIL asked your opinion :)

The top two girls names they like are Payton and Hayley: Hmm...interesting top names, I think that they like unisex names, but ones that many would consider all girl.

what about:
Hadley: This is my top choice - I think it "fits" them
Ashton
Aubrey
Cassidy
Dylan - a cool girls name IMO
Ellery, nn Ellie - very cute :)
Delaney
Mallory
Quinn - I also really like this unisex name
Sydney - kind of common, but I like it a lot
Tatum
Wynne
Lila - not unisex, but I suggest it to everyone :)

The top two boys names they like are Zachary and Nicholas - I do not think that any names need to be added - I love both of these. I think that Zach is great and that Nick or Cole are wonderful nn for Nicholas.

Your list is too funny, I have Sydney and Mallory on my list for her as well. Its funny that we came up with 2 of the same, and to think I know her really well and you have never met her. I'll share your list with her and see how many she likes. She likes Dylan for a boy but her DH doesn't. I think he is going to be a problem. Popularity doesn't seem to bother him, he seems to prefer popular names anyway.

Their naming style seems to be unisex/surname for girls and traditional/popular -- especially with obvious nns -- for boys. Here are some suggestions along those lines (sorry for repeats ... I know some have been mentioned).

For girls:
Paisley (my first thought when I saw Payton and Hayley)
Ainsley/Ainslie
Hadley
Morgan/Morrigan
Eleri
Rowan
Teagan
Fallon
Larkin
Delaney

For boys:
Timothy/Tim
Andrew/Andy/Drew
Henry/Hank/Harry/Hal/Hugh
Oliver/Ollie
Nolan
Joshua/Josh
Ethan
Jack/John
William/Will/Liam
Ryan
Aaron
Owen
Nathan(iel)/Nate
Benjamin/Ben
Samuel/Sam
Gabriel/Gabe
Elijah/Eli
Caleb/Calvin/Cal
Luke/Lucas
Isaac (possible nn Zack)
