Hello,
I posted here a few times when I was pregnant with my second dd (which was not very long ago - she's only 11 months old!), and I was hoping you ladies could help me again. We've named two babies in 2 years, so we're feeling a little dry right now :)
Our daughters are
Philippa Violet who goes by Pippa, and
Romilly Alice who sometimes goes by Romy or Ro but usually just gets her full name.
Both our girls were born in Scotland (we just moved to the US over the summer), where their names were not quite as "out there" as they sound now that we live in America :) Dh is British and I am American, but we like names that have a British flavor and are less common here. Their mn's are family names, and this one's mn will probably be June for a girl or Waudby for a boy, though they're not set in stone.
We won't find out what we're having so we need options for a boy or a girl. I can't wait to hear your suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your thoughts on Gemma, Dawn. I'm having the same problem with a few other G-names with June. Oh well :)
Anyway, Romilly is pronounced with a short 'o', like CD-ROM, so ROM-ih-lee, not a long 'o' as in Rome, though we do call her Romy with a long 'o' sometimes, just because it's a more recognizeable nn. Hope that makes sense :)

What beautiful names you have chosen. I don't envy you tryin gto get get something to match those. However Harry is a popular name here for the Brit who has class. What do you think?

These have probably already been suggested, but some of my favorites are:
Girls
Bronwyn (I realize this isn't the traditional feminine spelling, but I love the nickname Wynnie)
Charlotte
Beatrice
Boys
Oliver (This is what I would have used, but I am having a girl.)
Ewan
Tristan
The problem with Ainsley is that he is a famous chef here, so it just doesn't sound right to me. But Quinn is a good boys name, or even Finn. Do you like Glynn? It is rather older name that I have heard from time to time. What about Flynn for that matter?
What are you thinking at the moment Jodesy?
