In our family, the first name of the parent becomes the middle name of the baby. My name is Jennifer (like 1 million other people born in 1970's) so if it's a girl then xxxxx Jennifer. Nothing I like sounds to great with that. Then, there's the problem of our last name. One syllable. Breir. And this is #2. Our first is Alek.
This is what I have so far and I'd LOVE suggestions for others.
Annabella ("Anna")
Amelia (Is this too trendy?)
Charlotte ("Charly")
Elizabeth ("Ellie")

Of your choices I like Amelia best (of course, as my dd is Amelia). Although it has risen in popularity in the last few years, it is still farther down the list, and I wouldn't say it is as trendy as all the E- names out there right now. I like that Amelia's stress is on the second syllable. Here are some other suggestions.
Cecilia
Amalia
Amaya
Felicity
Savannah
Good luck!!!
Naomi
Amelia 1-15-05
Adeline 3-11-07
I would pick Amelia from your choices. But, I think a shorter first name might sound better.
Sarah Jennifer
Ella Jennifer
Maya Jennifer
Leah Jennifer
Blaire Jennifer
Brielle Jennifer
Tessa Jennifer
Paige Jennifer
Dana Jennifer
Laurel Jennifer
I like Amelia the best as well, and I agree, a shorter name would sound best with Jennifer.
What a nice tradition!
Jennifer is a pretty name, esp. now that it has been given a bit of a rest.
Of the names you are considering, I would like to point out that if you don't like the popularity of your own name, you may not be satisfied with:
Annabella- A lot of Anna- names out there being used right now plus all the -belle, -bella, and -ella names...Also, not great flow with Jennifer, to me.
Amelia- It isn't a "Jennifer" yet, but I believe this will probably be a Top 10 name before the end of the decade. A lot of syllable with Jennifer, too.
Charlotte- Good flow but see Amelia. Top 25, for sure.
Elizabeth- Again, a lot of syllables plus Ellie is being used SO much as a nn for many names. What about the simpler, and less common, Liza Jennifer Brier? Liza and Alek are also GREAT sibling names (I really like the subtle connection of four letters each)!
I find Jennifer to be a fun and refreshing mn to work with with the added bonus of neat family significance!Names that seem like your style and sound good, to me-
Alek &
Kyra Jennifer Brier --- You appear to want a nn, but I really think shorter names sound best. You might consider Kiki, as more of an endearment???
Eden Jennifer Brier --- (Edie) --- Eden & Alek are neat together!
Calla Jennifer Brier --- Callie for nn is a possibility.
Molly Jennifer Brier
Margaret Jennifer Brier --- Longer, but I like the overall flow--- many great nn options- Mara, Meg, Greta, Gretchen (fantastic with ln Brier), Maggie, Margo, Megan, Maisie which leads me to- I like Margo Jennifer Brier. Margo and Alek is classy!!!
Stella Jennifer Brier --- How pretty! Stella & Alek...very appealing! Stella Brier, how lovely.
Sylvie Jennifer Brier
Sasha Jennifer Brier- These two syllable S- names flow very well with the mn and ln!
Audrey Jennifer Brier- I usually don't like same letter fn for siblings but Alek & Audrey don't sound too matchy and it's very pretty with Jennifer.
Names ending in -n also sound great with mn & ln like---
Megan Jennifer Brier, Lauren Jennifer Brier, Morgan Jennifer Brier, Caitlin Jennifer Brier--- These are
Ginger
Someone had Laurel Jennifer - but what about Lauren??
Lauren Jennifer Brier ???
Annabella - seems too long with Jennifer
Amelia - I agree that it's becoming very popular
Charlotte - I like this the best of your choices with the mn
Elizabeth - Elizabeth is one of my favorite names, but I think Ellie is on its way to becoming the new Jenny. Plus, Elizabeth is a mouthful with Jennifer.
Other ideas (probably repeats):
Liza Jennifer - someone else suggested this and I like it a lot
Anna Jennifer - even though I like Annabella, I think this flows better
Lila Jennifer
Lily Jennifer
Good luck!
Wow Wee! Thanks for the suggestions. You girls are a tremendous help! I like Lauren but, one of my close friends' little girl is named that......and they live in the same neighborhood. Lila is cute. Lila Jennifer has a little ring. Should we be more concerned with the last name though? I rarely hear my fn and mn together. Only when I am getting yelled at by my mom, and since I am 31 years old, that doesn't happen. I hear my fn and ln all the time though. So the one syllable first name with a one syllable last name is out. I think that is why at fisrt I was putting out longer fn. Our last name is so simple and I thought a longer fn would sound good.
How about Miranda Jennifer? I really like that name. And like I said, I do like Lila. If I have a preg. friend (we're at that baby producing age) that is naming her baby Lily, is that too close?
Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Eden. Thanks to whoever suggested it. I think it is so feminine and pretty, and not too common at all. So now we are down to
Miranda Jennifer
Eden Jennifer
Lila Jennifer
Annabella Jennifer (still like and yes, I would called her 'Bella' too)
Remember she needs to flow nicely with my little Alek.
oooh I like Lila Jennifer and I think it flows really nicely with big brother Alek! Good luck!
