Surprise Twins

They're not mine, but, my sister found out about a month ago that she is having twins! Needless to say we were all pretty surprised and very excited! So, she needs help on some names and tends to like longer names that can be shortened into a nn. They won't find out for about a month what the sexes are but this is what they have so far:

Joseph Walden

Elizabeth Noelle nn Lizzie

Cannot use: Caroline, Carolyn, Kathleen, Michelle

They need to have one more girl name and one more boy name on standby! Any ideas?? Also, are there any really good twin resources out there on the net? These are her first babies and I think she's a little overwhelmed. It has been difficult finding twin products.

Thanks!
Adrianne

Wow, congrats on being an aunt to twins!

Here are some other names that I think would go well with Joseph and/or Elizabeth...

Boys:
Jacob
Joshua
Michael
Matthew
Zachary
Aaron
David
Alexander

Girls:
Abigail
Amelia
Catherine/Katherine
Julianne/Julianna
Margaret
Madeline
Eleanor

I don't know much about twins, but I'm pretty sure there's a "multiples" board here at IV, so you might want to ask there.

Wow, that is exciting!

I like both Elizabeth and Joseph. I think Noelle is a pretty and underused name.

A few other ideas:

Amelia nn Mia or Mimi

Eleanor nn Nora or Nell

Margaret nn Meg, Greta or Maggie

Annabel nn Annie

If she has two girls, I think Lizzie and Mia are really cute together. Annie and Lizzie also sound nice together.

Benjamin nn Ben

Nathaniel or Nathan nn Nate

Nicholas nn Nick

Calvin nn Cal

If she has two boys, I like Joe and Ben.

Hope this helps!
