GIRLS:

Lily Claire - Cutesy. I think it flows nicely

Jessica Rose - WOW! I don't remember the last time I heard Jessica on a baby. Rose is nice

Jamie Rae - HA! My childhood best friend was named this. Too odd! I don't really care for it that much though, imho

Hope Elizabeth - Nice. Classy sounding

Francesca Haley - I LOVE Francesca. DH won't let me use it .. Haley doesn't seem like it fits with Francesca.

Cressida Marie - YUCK. Marie is always fitting with something...

Katie Jane - Katie is kind of odd as a given name. Especially with plain Jane.

Emily Megan - Okay. I'd rather use Megan as a fn

Holly Irene - I really don't like it. Srry.

Samantha Alexis - I don't care tooo much for either one.

Fiona Elizabeth - I love how this flows together. I think Fiona is soo cute on a baby.

Emma Ivy - I'm not sure if I like starting both names with a vowel. Is that odd??

Sophie Claire - I like Sophie, prefer Sophia. Claire is nice

Chloe Rose - Chloe is too cute~ Rose - always a "safe" way to go

Brynn Amelia - Sorry, just nms

Marina Katherine - Marina is pretty. Katherine fits well

Claudia Camryn - Cute

BOYS:

Ryan Beau - Kind of looks like Rainbow right off the bat.

Luke Gabriel - LOVE IT

Bruno Malone - Are you kidding me? Bruno seems like a dog name. Malone is nice if it's a family name

Benjamin Henry - CUTE

Alexander Dillon - ADORABLE

Ian Carlton - LOVE IT

Adam Jonas - CUTE CUTE CUTE

Penleigh James - How do you say this?

Ernie Andrew - Ernie is AWFUL. Andrew is nice

Lewton James - nms

George Stephen - cute

Henry Brayden - LOVE Henry, HATE Brayden

Jacob James - Love Jacob. Would probably use something other than a "J" mn

Milo Charles - Milo is in my top 5. Charles in a nice mn

Maxwell Edward - LOVE Maxwell. Edward is okay

Daniel Thomas - okay

James Benedict - hope Benedict is a family name

Michael Edward - okay

David Harley - okay. Kind of a play on Harley Davidson?

GIRLS:

Lily Claire -- hehe ... Lil' Eclair (bet they didn't realize they'd named her after a petite pastry ). Still nice in theory. I've actually read this exact combo in at least half a dozen birth announcements.

Jessica Rose -- dated fn (although I'm hearing it more and more lately), but the two sound nice together

Jamie Rae -- very country sounding ... reminds me of Britney Spears

Hope Elizabeth -- nms, but nice

Francesca Haley -- I like both names but they seem an odd combo

Cressida Marie -- Cressida is great. ;) I'm guessing they either used Marie to "balance" out the more unique fn or to honor a family member

Katie Jane -- very much a nn

Emily Megan -- Megan Emily would have been a bit less common (and for some reason the Me-/Em- names sound odd together, just because of the reversal)

Holly Irene -- that's more unexpected. I've heard Holly a few times recently. Reminds me of my old Holly Hobbie doll (lost her in a tragic snow-fort accident)

Samantha Alexis -- "Sam" and "Alex" names are very popular in my area, although most are a few years older and this would seem dated here

Fiona Elizabeth -- not the best flow between the two names but still nice

Emma Ivy -- again, not the best flow (very abrupt too!), but Ivy is great ;)

Sophie Claire -- I've seen this fn/mn combo at least a dozen times in the past few months ... very common

Chloe Rose -- Chloe is nms, but fine for someone else. The identical O sounds in Chloe and Rose don't work well at all, however.

Brynn Amelia -- hey, that's very nice

Marina Katherine -- nice

Claudia Camryn -- hmm ... too alliterative and a very odd combo! These are just two totally different styles. Seems like neither parent wanted to compromise so they each chose a name regardless of the other's choice, KWIM?

BOYS:

Ryan Beau -- Ryan is great, if popular (although I don't hear it on children much around here)

Luke Gabriel -- I can't say this without it coming out like Lou Cabriel, although I'd like either name paired with something else

Bruno Malone -- wow! Now that's interesting. I couldn't do Bruno personally, but still interesting LOL

Benjamin Henry -- the Ben-/Hen- beginnings don't work for me, but I like both names

Alexander Dillon -- love Dillon

Ian Carlton -- that's nice, even if they both end in N

Adam Jonas -- nice

Penleigh James -- the -leigh ending is a bit much, especially for a boy. Wonder if it was the mom's maiden name or something?

Ernie Andrew -- Andrew is nice. Ernie is a nn (or a muppet hehe)

Lewton James -- Lewton is interesting, but it reminds me of "looting." Leyton would have been nice

George Stephen -- I like that

Henry Brayden -- Love it, although I wouldn't have gone with the trendier "Brayden" spelling next to the classic Henry

Austin Frazer -- Assuming Frazer is a family name, this is fine (although the s/z sounds in the middle of each name aren't ideal for me).

Jacob James -- double-J names are some of the worst as far as alliterative combos go. It always seems like the parents thought it would be "cute" to purposefully make him "J.J." Also brings to mind Jesse James, especially since the mn is nearly always James (not bad, just a funny thing to think of when reading a birth announcement LOL)

Milo Charles -- that's fine

Maxwell Edward -- I had a puppy named Maxwell/Max (along with half the country LOL), so this one's always tough for me. Maxwell Edward is a very mature, distinguished name, however, so I'll leave it alone ;)

Daniel Thomas -- fine

James Benedict -- interesting choice, but I like it

Michael Edward -- fine

David Harley -- can't do Harley (and yes, I have known a little Harley ... named for his mom's motorcycle)

William Hugh -- I like both, but not sure I like them together

George Nicholas -- nice

Cameron Derek -- fine

TWINS:

William Michael & Margaret Isabella -- ooh, very nice. Wonder if they'll be Will and Meg?

Grace Lucy & Jack Andrew -- Grace and Jack work well, although I don't like the fn/mn combos (Grace Lucy is too sssss-ey, and Jack Andrew runs together into Jackandrew for me)

Matthew Stanley & Caroline Taylor -- very nice

Sophie & Corinne -- eh. Not my favorites from the twins list, but at least they're not matchy ;)

SW Florida never disappoints!

Grace Lucy & Jack Andrew - Contemporary and solid choices.

Matthew Stanley & Caroline Taylor - Lose the Stanley. Grandpa will understand.
