I know that many of you think/thought that Tatum looked masculine. Do any of you think that Taytum looks better? Just wondering, does anybody know of any Tatum's?

I just LOVE the name!

Thanks,

Lily

I definitely prefer the Tatum spelling, and I think it makes a GREAT sister to Harper. They are right in line style-wise! Tatum is certainly feminine enough; definitely no less feminine than Harper. I wouldn't worry about that at all!

Oh, good. I was wondering if anyone thought that Tatum and Harper make good sisters! Do you personally know any Tatum's or Harper's or their mns? Just wondering. Thanks for your input!

No, I don't actually know any Harper's or Tatum's IRL! Is Harper's mn Grace?

Here are some that I think would be nice w/ Tatum:

Tatum Elise
Tatum Veronica
Tatum Elaine
Tatum Ava
Tatum Olivia
Tatum Elizabeth

WDYT? I think I like the sound of a mn that begins with a vowel, since Tatum has prominent consonant sounds. A mn heavy on consonants feels sort of heavy. HTH!

Okay... here's what I think about your suggestions...

Tatum Elise- Not really my style.
Tatum Veronica- That's cute, need to consider that.
Tatum Elaine- Eh, nms.
Tatum Ava- I really LOVE this name, but want to use it on as a fn, sometime.
Tatum Olivia- nms.
Tatum Elizabeth- I like Tatum Elisabeth. I'll consider that.

Wow, thanks a bunch for the input! I actually like the fact that not many people know a Harper or Tatum bc I want a unique name w/o a KREIGH8IV spelling or just something odd! I don't happen to like the whole Tatum O'Neil ordeal. I really pray that it doesn't ruin this name (hint: I would NEVER in a million buhgillion years name my DD Britney bc of Britney Spears! LOL)

Thanks again and I hope to hear back from you soon!

I do think Harper and Tatum fit well for sisters...but I think part of that reason is that they both don't take nicknames very well. They're only two syllables...I wouldn't worry about shortening them at all.

My two cents...

Tatum Holland: A little too ambiguous for my tastes.

Tatum Elisabeth: Pretty, safe.

Tatum Bell (mom's maiden name): While I like the family tie, I'm afraid this will just blur in with all of the Firstname Belles that are running around right now.

Tatum Eden: This sounds like a vegetarian restaurant, specializing in spuds...

Tatum Meredith: Not bad.

Tatum Beatrix: Fun.

Tatum Romilly: Since Romilly is a unisex name, this also feels vague to me.

Tatum Pippa (not Philippa): Ahh, I see you met Jody. Honestly, just Pippa feels overly cute as a given name.

Tatum Addison: Ambiguous.

Tatum Ivy: I could see this working.
