Hello iVillage buddies! LOL!
I was at Target with my grandmother and her (being so outgoing) walks up to this mom who is stuggling to keep her 4 yo under control, and says, "Why what a lovely daughter you have." The mom replys, "Thank you." Remember, she is answering my grandmother's questions at the same time of trying to keep her 4yo son from running off and getting abducted. My grandmother asks again, "What is her name?" The mother replys, "Parker." Now I am just anticipating the worst, my grandmother has strong opinions about names and such. The mom is obviously now trying to "get away" from my grandmother and trying to chase her son and hold a 6 month old. My grandmother blurts out, "No, I asked your

I think Parker is cute on a girl, but then again, my daughter's name is Chandler, so I might not be a good person to ask about names and gender!
Oh, don't get me wrong: I love unisex names like, Emersen, Sawyer, Parker, Cooper, etc. My grandmother is VERY traditional. I would be in the dog house if I were to name by daughter Parker or a "boy's name".
I think that Chandler is cute on a little girl. Your daughter is precious. See, I like a "unisex" name with a girly, pretty mn, like Chandler Marie. Now, Chander Parker would have been an instant "Oh this is a boy's name".
What is the other name on your list besides my favorite, favorite, favorite name in the entire world - Harper!!!???
What would Grandma think about Harper!?
Oh my grandma LOVES Harper also. Yes, I know it's strange but I am glad that she does! LOL.
Here are my thoughts on your "lists":
Aubrey- I don't like this one at all. It reminds me of an oil company around here-- they are taking over!
Presley- Ooooh.... I love this one too. It's so cute and spunky, yet it will grow up well.
Amelia- Haha, it's funny that you like this one too, because I know a family with daughters-- Amelia nn Emmy, Presley and Alexandra nn Lexie! But, I don't like Amelia, personally.
Holland- This one is in the middle of my list. I like it more as a mn but it could work for a fn. I know little twin girls named Holland and Eden so that is a good association for me!!
Colby- I really don't like this. I do know a cute, spunky little girl named Kolby and I like that spelling better. It fits her to a "t".
Thanks for your honest replies - LOL!
Since you asked, I'll tell you what I think of the names on your list.
Natalie -

Happily waiting with Nick and Olivia for Tess and Haven's welcome to the world.
