Thanks for all the suggestions for names that go along with Garrett. I'll have to go over all of them with my husband. Hopefully we'll agree on something! Now one more question. if we have a girl we like the name Rosalynn Renee. Lynn for his mother and Renee for mine. And Rosa because I think it'll be so precious to call a little girl Rosa. But should we pronounce it with a long "O" sound (like rose) or with the first part sounding like ROZ? (like bras without the B). I got such good advice before i know i can count on everyone's good judgment again. Thanks!

I like O like Rose. What a beautiful name!! It may be a challenge sometimes with people pronouncing it wrong, but tough noogies, it is beautiful and correcting someone isn't the end of the world. And if you call her Rosa, you dont' have to tell her full name if you don't want to. I would definitely go O like Rose.

To me, Rosa has the long 'O' that you like, but Rosalynn to me, would be Roz-ah-lyn.. it was the first name of a First Lady (Jimmy Carter's wife) which was pronounced just as I just pointed out. I think Rosalynn's familiar enough to most people that you ( and your daughter) will probably have to correct most everyone at least once. But I like that pronunciation and think with that pronunciation is very, very pretty. I also think that while Rosa (long 'O') is sweet, Roz (short 'O') has spunk and charm. Either way you go, Rosalynn Renee's a great name!
