I don't like Theo as a stand-alone name, so I voted for Lucas Theodore. But if Theodore Lucas, nn Theo had been an option, it would've definitely gotten my vote!

Hm, I've never met a Theo here. How is it pronounced there? Is it THEE-oh or TAY-oh?

Theo is definitely a name here (Thee-o), but I've only seen it as a nickname for Theodore rather than a stand alone name...it would absolutely be recognized on its own, but would be kind of like Chris instead of Christopher (only not as commonly used)--it could stand alone, but it's got more of a nickname quality than a full name quality. Make sense? Like the pp, I would easily have voted for Theodore Lucas, nn Theo if that were an option in the poll.

I've known of people named simply Theo--a bit like Liam instead of William or Cole instead of Nicolas. I'm a bit uncertain of it because it's from the Greek for "God"...so I always giggle a bit when it's the sole name.

I voted for Lucas Theodore, but think I would have voted for Theodore Lucas also if that had been an option. I definitley would have had to put more thought into it! They are both nice names, and sound great in either order.

I do like Theo as a nn, but I think Theodore is just so handsome! I am a nn person, so I know I would use one most of the time. Lucas Theodore (or Lucas Theo)
