Oh I LOVE Callahan! Carrigan isn't doing it for me though.

I love Callahan, especially if you call him Cal. I'm really loving Cal lately.

Carrigan I'm torn on, because I LOVE the sound of it, but my mind immediately goes to Kerrigan, as in Nancy Kerrigan and the whole Tonya Harding ice skating fiasco.

I don't like Carrigan on a girl at all. I LOVE your choice of Taryn though. I think its so pretty. Callahan is nice. I like that you can get the nn Cal from it. It is probably my favourite of your boy choices. Its growing on me :)

I like Callahan for a boy. But to me Carrigan sounds like a last name. Plus it would probably be shortened to Carri/Carry, a nn I don't particularly care for.

I really like both names. I would say they're my favourite out of all of the names you have considered.

I like them both! I have also always liked Carrington for a girl for some reason.

How do you think they sound with our last name? Too much? I think I'd pair them both with a 1-syllable mn since our last name is 3-syllables as well. Something I'll have to think about. I haven't mentioned these ones to Rob yet. I think Carrigan is a nice name and I love the way it looks. Is Callahan too much of a mouthful? I like the name Tripp and even more so now with seeing Failure to Launch and that's Matthew McConaughey's name. What about Callahan Tripp? Hmmm, don't know if that's working for me or not, lol.

I think they sound fine with your last name. I agree with maybe a 1 syllable mn. I don't find Callahan a mouthful at all. I agree, I don't care for Callahan Tripp. Not sure I like Tripp, it might be ok for a mn though.

Ok, here's what I came up with for mn's.

Callahan Brandt
Callahan Boyd
Callahan Bryce
Callahan Reid
Callahan Pierce
Callahan Jayce
Callahan West (Since I can't use Weston. I really like this combination.)
Callahan York (not sure about the name York but I like the way the 2 sound together)

I couldn't come up with many for Carrigan. I don't like a lot of 1-syllable names for girls.

Carrigan Belle (I like this the best I think)
Carrigan Elle
Carrigan Jade (my least favourite)
Carrigan Bree/Brie

I think I like Callahan Brandt and Callahan West. You know I don't mind Callahan Ryker (I really like Ryker as a mn) It doesn't sound too long with a 2 syllable mn so maybe it would be ok to do.

I like Carrigan Belle.
