Hi All, Thank you so much for your opinion on my names ( I was the other post with possible Michael the mn). DH now says no on Eden, but the name Elle has come up and it is growing on both of us. What

I find Elle beautiful, classy, feminine, and sweet. I really like it. You could always also use it as a nn for Elizabeth, Eleanor, Eliza, etc. I like Elle on its own though.

I prefer Elle as a nn for Eleanor or Ellen or even Elizabeth

Being associated with Elle Woods or Elle MacPherson isn't a negative IMO.

Tough choice...both Elle Michael and Georgia Alice are stand outs!

I guess since I like both Elle and Michael better than Georgia or Alice, I will give Elle Michael my vote.

Oh, and I like Elle all on its own as a name.

I like Elle, but I find Elle Michael a bit singsongy...but Elle Alice doesn't work, either, so I can't find a combo with Elle that I really like. On the bright side, I LOVE Georgia Alice--both names and as a whole.

Elle is a very nice name, either on it's own or as a nn.

I'm surprised at how many people like the name Georgia Alice... I picture old woman here (but at least it would grow up nice!).

I love, love, love Elle Michael. I think it's a great stand alone name.

If you really love Elle you may not want to consider a longer name that could have multiple nns. For instance, Elizabeth ... Liz, Beth, Betty, Libby, Lizzie, Betsy ... etc. Or even Eleanor that would be easily changed to Nora. Not that any of those names would be a bad option, just maybe not the option that you would prefer your child being called. Take it from Benjamin's mom, not Ben, Benny, Benji, or even Benno!!

Just some ideas!
