My husband's cousin just named their third son Kanon. The first two are Kobe and Kolton. I don't like it. It's must be made up. What do you all think?

I also heard the 3 yr old is calling him Kanon ball...smart kid to already come up with a nick name that I'm sure the kids in school will call him that also. haha

Just wanted your opinion on it. There are so many other cute K boy names she could of picked. Karter or Kaleb would of been better.

My cousin just named her baby boy Cannon. It's not my style, but it does seem to fit her and her family. When she announced the name a few months ago she said, "I know he's going to have to be a really cool kid to pull this off, but we have faith he can do it." While it's not my style, I think Cannon is MUCH better than Kanon...Kanon definitely looks made up and it took me a moment to recognize it as an alternate spelling of Cannon...

I actually really like the name Canon. Not so sure about Kanon, though. It's not horrible, just not my fav. I babysat a while back for a sib set of Canon, Holland and Eden. I really love Cannon or Canon.

My heart melted when I read Kolton. Although, I hate the spelling Kolton, I love the spelling Colton, SO much.

I think that Caden, Colton and Canon would have been much, much better. Kobe is nms.

I can't say it really works for me, but neither "all the same letter" or K names are much up my alley.

It looks like a misspelling of Canaan to me. The again, Kolton also looks misspelt to me as well. I dislike people using the letter K where C is normally used.

Well, I don't like it either -- makes me think of the copiers (spelled Canon).
