Too early to be talking names but...

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I'm so excited!! I just wanted to get input on our first list of names. Many of our MNs are family names. Our last name begins with W and is 2 syllables.
Boy:
Reed Hankins W
Rowan Daniel W
Evan Michael W
Mathew Benjamin W (JR- NN Ben)
Girl:
Julianna Gray W
Margo Kathleen W
Madeline Dow W
And we also love Katherine, Claire, and Elizabeth.

Hi there, Mary. Congrats on your first baby!
These are some nice names on your lists. Here are my thoughts:
Boy:
Reed Hankins W-Reed is nms, but it's perfectly fine. However, don't you think it's a little diffacult w/a W ln?
Rowan Daniel W-Oh, I like this a lot. It's another R name though, & imo I don't think it works too well w/a W ln. Just say it a few times out loud, & see if you get tripped up.
Evan Michael W-That's nice. It's not quite as interesting as Rowan, but it's a fine name.
Mathew Benjamin W (JR- NN Ben)-I just love this. Usually Jrs. are nms, but I guess it's fine if you call him by his mn. Beware that Ben is really popular now though.
Girl:
Julianna Gray W-Lovely. I prefer Julianna Kathleen, & maybe keep Gray as a boy mn possibility instead.
Margo Kathleen W-That's fine, but it's nms. If you do use it though, I'd go w/Margot. I'm pretty sure that's the correct spelling.
Madeline Dow W-I love Madeline. Maddie is totally nms, but just Madeline is lovely. MaDeline Dow doesn't quite flow that well though; why not Madeline Kathleen?
And we also love Katherine, Claire, and Elizabeth.
Those are all beautiful. I especially love Elizabeth!
Hope this helps.
I think this is a great start! My favorites from this list are :
Girl: Juliana Gray and Boy: Evan Michael
Congratulations and Good Luck!
I like Rowan Daniel and Julianna Gray the best!
Sunny
Congrats!
I LOVE the name Matthew - it's so classic & will never be trendy - but I'm not into "Jrs" & since you'd be calling him Ben anyway I'd vote for Evan for a boy.
As for girls I like Elizabeth best followed by Claire. If you call her Madeline & not give her the nn Maddie I'd like Madeline too.

Congratulations! It's never too early to start thinking of names. ;-) I'm 10 weeks pregnant with our third baby and we're thinking too, but not getting too far yet! I like the names on your list. Benjamin Mathew would be good too to avoid the JR. I like Claire. If our son would have been a girl he would have been Claire Emmaline. My daughter Chloe's middle name is Elizabeth. My son's name is Owen Daniel. Margo is adorable too. Good luck with your pregnancy and finding the perfect name!
Jacque
Reed Hankins W- I love this name! Its so nice.
Rowan Daniel W- seems a bit feminine to me. I do love Avery though which is also unisex
Evan Michael W- an average name, but getting popular
Mathew Benjamin W (JR- NN Ben)- nice, but I'm not really a fan of sr/jr

Thank you all for your responses. We still have a lot of time to figure this out, thank goodness! If we had to make a decision today I have no idea what we'd pick for a boy, but as of now we are thinking Julianna is the front runner for our girl's name.
It was funny that one of you mentioned the R/W issue. That is exactley how DH feels about those names!
Thanks again,
Mary Lauren
