My brothers wife just delivered triplets! It took them 3 days to name them (why they began the process after they were born is beyond me!), and they came up with the following. Please give me your honest feedback!

Camille Ryan (g)

Harper Leigh (g)

Leland Bligh (b)

I like all the names on their own. Harper sticks out to me as unisex with a sister named Camille & brother Leland.

Ooh, I love, love these names.

I cannot believe they came up with such unique names without much thought, though.

I love all 3 names, I really LOVE Camille's MN! Harper does seem to stick out with their other names but its still a great name!

Fabulous choices! As hard as naming them was, I still say getting through the first year is going to be the real challenge!

Thank you for your positive feedback. I must say, though, that you are absolutely the ONLY ones me and the entire rest of my family have heard from who even "kinda sorta" like these names! We are having a very difficult time. We realize that the names are their choices and we are trying to support them, but we think these names are just wild to say the least! But thanks for some perspective! I'm confident that when the babies come home and we can hold them and get to know them, the names will be "perfect"!

I think they sound like very upperclass southern names. Are you from the south by any chance?

One thing about Harper Leigh.. reminds me of Harper Lee the author.

I think it would be difficult for some people to give you negative feedback on baby names that are already given. And if everybody hates the names then what? Perhaps your feedback was not all honest because of that. Perhaps those that don't like the names just held their tongue?

Harper Leigh is like Harper Lee of To Kill a Mockingbird. However, we pronounce it Hahrpah.

Funny you mention upper class Southern names! My brother, I think, would like to think that someday he will be upperclass! He has three more years of college to go before he becomes an orthodontist (12 years of schooling!). And my sil is from the south, so your guess may be right on!

As we see more and more pics of the babies and hear stories of how sweet they are, we (the extended family) are growing more used to the names. Thanks for all the encouragement!
