A nice meaning -- especially one with such wonderful family ties -- is great, but somehow Trudy just doesn't do it for me. It's very dated and nicknamey (I've always thought of it as a short form of Gertrude, meaning strong spear or something along those lines), and it doesn't seem to fit the style of your other names (I haven't gotten to reply to that thread, but I did see your list).

Other names that can mean beloved include:

Cara -- beloved in Italian and "friend" in Irish
Mary -- there are quite a few possible meanings behind Mary, and beloved is one of them. BTN traces it back to an Egyptian name derived from "mry," meaning beloved.
Muirne/Morna/Myrna -- similarly, Muirne (and it's Anclicized forms) translates to beloved in Irish Gaelic
Priya -- beloved in Sanskrit
Daralis -- I'm not very familiar with this, but my sister's name is Dara and she's always loved it. Daralis has a different root, however, and means beloved.
Philipa/Phillipa/Philippa -- the root "phil" can translate to beloved in Greek, so any Phil- name would also have that link. Pippa is a sweet nn, too, btw. ;)
Alanna(h) -- not literally beloved, but "a leanbh" is an Irish term of endearment basically meaning "O child" or "darling child" (which definitely indicates beloved to me )
Carys -- means, more simply, love
Grainne/Grania -- often associated with "gráidh," also meaning love or "the loved one" (aka beloved)
Kerensa -- love in Cornish
Mina -- can also mean love

ETA: I forgot about your husband's love of Grace/Gracie! Historically, Grace was often used as an Anglicized form of Grainne/Grania (though the two are actually unrelated), so with this name you'd get the beloved meaning AND your dh could use Gracie as his own special nn for her. ;)

I also love the meaning and the family ties, but just think of a nickname for Gertrude.

I like that you want to name a baby after your husband without actually using his name, but the meaning! I am not too fond of Trudy though.

here's some names I've found to mean 'beloved'

Amy
Kalila (could call her Lila)
Cara

---

these don't mean beloved but meanings have love in them:

Amanda (fit to be loved; lovable)
Carys (love)

HTH!
