Twin Boy names- Help Please!

Hi,
Please help! If our twins are boys, what do you think of the names Isaac and Micah? I LOVE both of these names, but I don't know about putting them together. NN would be Zac and Mike.
I hate the NN 'Ike' for Isaac, but I have heard it used. My biggest fear would be my boys being called 'Ike and Mike'- YUK! My other concern is that the names are too 'matchy' because they are both OT biblical names.
What do you honestly think? Did the 'Ike and Mike' thing cross your mind before I mentioned it?
Thanks!
Katie

I love them! And they work great for twins.
The Mike and Ike thing didn't cross my mind, but then I wouldn't think to naturally shorten either name (and my girls all have nns, so that's saying a lot). I'd tend to call them Isaac and Micah. If I knew you shortened Micah to Mike, however, Ike might easily follow for Isaac. To be quite honest, Mike and Zac are much more dated than the full names, so my vote would go to no nns to avoid the whole problem.
I actually love that you're not looking into matchy names for them ... very refreshing! ;) And the OT connection isn't an odd one. After all, you wouldn't think brothers named Matthew and John were that strange, and they're much "closer" if you KWIM.
If you're still unsure about the combo, Isaac and Asher would also be nice (both Biblical names with "happy" meanings). ;)

Ike and Mike didn't cross my mind at all. I LOVE both names and think they go wondefully together. You could also consider Asher.. I think Asher fits right in. I do love Isaac and Micah and think Zac & Mike works as nn's, but they are so nice on their own I wouldn't want to shorten them.

I think it's a great set, both the full names and the nicknames.
Thanks everyone for your comments so far! I also LOVE the suggestion of Isaac and Asher- they look great together! I will have to add that to my list!
