ugh, last name is frustrating me!

I am only 8 wks pg, so it isnt really a rush, but DH and I just started going over names, and it seems that every name I like sounds weird with out last name - Aaron.

With your last name, I would avoid names that end in "n" or begin with the same vowel sounds.
Of the choices you listed for boys, Elijah flows the best. The others tend to clash with the last name (though they are all nice names). For girls, Chloe Aaron sounds the best.
A few suggestions:
Travis Aaron
Jacob Aaron
Tyler Aaron
Zachary Aaron
Joseph Aaron
Timothy Aaron
Chase Aaron
Lucas Aaron
Marshall Aaron
Rachel Aaron
Kelsey Aaron
Molly Aaron
Hayley Aaron
Faith Aaron
Juliette Aaron
Bridget Aaron
Well, I'd definitely avoid Ethan. The name combo sounds too much like the furniture store (Ethan Allen). Unfortunately you're stuck w/ one of those first name last names that makes naming so difficult. Unless you go & switch your ln (!) you'll just have to live w/ the fact that most names you choose might sound a little "off" w/ your ln. I think that all the other names you've chosen sound just fine.
Of the boys I like Elijah best w/ your ln.
Of the girls I like Amaya best.
Good luck!
What about Joel?
Joel Aaron
Joel (Matthew) Aaron
Joel (David) Aaron
Joel (Gabriel) Aaron
All those names would aslo be good first names with Aaron I think.
Girls:
I actually know a Stephanie Aaron and a Marjorie Aaron. What about...Lindsay Aaron, Rachel Aaron, Deborah Aaron, Elisabeth Aaron.
Good luck with your pregnancy!
Thanks everyone! I mostly wanted to see what you thought of the letter combinations, so now I have some things to go on! We are still reading through the baby book and have not begun narrowing down yet, but I was curious about the prospect of starting or ending with 'A' or 'N'.
Thanks so much for your advice!
oh and I LOVE ethan, but also thought it sounded like ethan allen, plus ethan is really popular, so I am going to rule it out :(

well, I know it must be hard when the names you like don't seem to match up with your last name, but to me, most of the ones you've listed don't sound so good with Aaron. Chloe is best one.
none of the ones that start with a vowel sound good with it at all. Ethan Aaron sounds too much like the carpet store, Ethan Allan. much too close to that.
Elijah Aaron is just way too vowel heavy and all the ones, both boy and girl, that end in the on sound, are too repetitive with that.
It's hard to know what to suggest to you because the ones I think sound good with Aaron might not be your style, but here goes: The R in Aaron also causes problems with a lot of names I thought might work.
boys: Christopher Aaron, Dominic Aaron, Gregory Aaron, Jacob Aaron, Kyle Aaron, Luke or Lucas Aaron, Matthew Aaron, Michael Aaron, Marcus Aaron, Nathaniel Aaron (not Nathan), Parker Aaron (not crazy about that together, but possible), Rhett Aaron, Rory Aaron (slightly off with the Y-ender, but not bad), Spencer Aaron, Trevor Aaron, Timothy Aaron, Wesley Aaron, Zachary Aaron.
girls: Belinda Aaron, Bethany Aaron, Brielle Aaron, Brianna Aaron, Chelsea Aaron, Courtney Aaron, corina Aaron, Chloe Aaron (which you have above) Delaney Aaron, Desiree Aaron, Dominique Aaron, Felicity Aaron, Gisele Aaron, Hilary Aaron, Heidi Aaron, Johanna Aaron, Kyndle Aaron, Kylie Aaron, Karli Aaron, Kelsey Aaron, Mackenzie Aaron, Naomi Aaron, Piper Aaron, Paige Aaron, Rayna Aaron, Sienna Aaron, Sabrina Aaron, Samantha Aaron, Sophia Aaron, Stephanie, Tiffany Aaron, Tasha Aaron, Whitney Aaron, Zoe Aaron
good luck
