Nice to hear from you Hanna! We also have a daughter with the same name, but we spell it Hannah. Creative spellings can be very confusing. I think there are many parents that like to design beautiful looking names, using creative spellings. The names look very unique and sometimes beautiful, but they can be hard to pronounce. It really is a visual experience for many parents that like to use creative spellings. I'm not against creative spellings, though I do understand there are many people that have a real dislike for creatively spelled names. I completely understand their views. We have fairly normal names for our children and they are all spelled with traditional spellings (except for one). Our children are:
Ryan
Rianne (this one gives people trouble, it is pronounced Ree-ANNE)
Hayley
Hannah
Abigail
Sara

I could read out Rianne , but that maybe because I'm Swedish *smile*

What I think is sad is when people give children random words as names like Safari
