Hi there,

My husband has Native American heritage, and I always thought it would be neat to name a kid Cedar (boy or girl!)

Of your names, I really like Reeva, Rayne, and Sky. I also like Rayna.

Other unusual names I like are Thora, Willow, Kaia, Tayo

An old roommate of mine had a brother named Tadeusz (Tah-day-osh) which I thought was cool - and they called him Tadjo or Tadeo for short.

Good luck with your pregnancy!

I like Skylah of your names.I am not much on unusual spellings as I think it makes it hard for the child.

A friend of mine who's Native American named her daughter Wren. I loved it. Very soft and feminine. I also love the suggestion Ever. Good luck!

Amy, mom to Nate (9), Calvin (7), and Tobias (4). You can find me at my blogs:

I like geographic locations. You just have to look on any map for inspiration. But a few I like are:

Rhodesia

Tralee

Nevada

Carolina

Austria

Georgia

Janeiro

Verona

Maine

Raleigh

Geneva

Sussex

Ankhara

Cambridge

Jakarta

York

Bimini

Devon

London

I personally do not usually like 'unique' spellings. To me it looks like the parent was trying too hard to be artistic or draw lots of attention to the child. A beautiful name is enough, imo.

I like Keelyn for the girl, and believe it or not (since I'm a traditionalist), I actually like Taymer for the boy!
